Everyone, no matter who you are, has a purpose for their life! That is the message in the RESH 180 curriculum (Rising Expectations Standards & Honor). In every High School and Middle School AVID class in the CFBISD, we are offering emotional intelligence, hope, laughter, encouragement, and fun interactive activities. Students are offered a chance to make a “180” degree turn from their previous ways of thinking, and are given a new lens to look at life through. Our coursework offers students a fun, deep, and destiny filled view of their lives. All while having a blast in their class. We are hiring part time facilitators for this next school year.

At MIC we are excited to serve in our community, and more so, to teach our children to do the same. That is why we offer an opportunity for children to give back by getting involved in their community. We are able to reach out to our local partners who help create specific service projects for our kids. Every service project the student participates in allows them to earn points. Those points are then converted to a dollar amount, which is used to purchase back to school shoes of their choice.

Summer Camps
Our Summer Enrichment Program allows kids from local apartments to come and explore their community while having fun. We at MIC offer exciting field trips, guest speakers, visits from area Fire and Police Depts. healthy meals and most importantly, a safe place to belong. Every Summer we mobilize our teams of volunteers to make a real difference.
Join us and see what can be accomplished when you get an impassioned team to focus on change. Help us connect with donors, speakers and with people in need. Together, we can make a difference because our kids COUNT!
